Priming the Pump for Inspiration
“The well of Providence is deep. It’s the buckets we bring to it that are small.”
Mary Gladys Webb (English Romance Novelist and Poet; March 25th, 1881 ~ October 8th, 1927)
“You need to create a reassuring ritual for yourself to access your inner reservoir–that place deep within you inhabited by imagination.”
My Bucket List

“Before my story began…” (Heather Houston 3-4-26)

“Soaking in an aromatherapy-infused bath in the outdoors is the ultimate luxury and path to Providence.” (Heather Houston 3-4-22)
“I find when I prepare my blog writings ahead so that in the moment I can be with my thoughts and creatively write is the best for me. The week can get away from me quickly. Today I was unwell and had probably my 3rd migraine ever and this one had the whole halo and colors to boot. I ended my day at noon, travelled home, changed into comfortable clothes and napped on the couch for several hours. I followed this up with a lazy watching of ‘The Lion In Winter’. The most important thing is I listened…listened to what my body and the Universe was screaming at me.”

I challenge each of you on this blog series to post comments so we all can grow together.
I have never had a migraine headache. I understand that they are quite painful. I am sorry you had a painful day.
I don’t always recognize when I am in pain. I think it is because when my back was bad I got so that I blocked it out. So often now I still do it. What strange things we do to ourselves.
I hope you are a little better now.
Today, I finished collecting docs for taxes and sent them off to the CPA. So now that is not hanging over me.
Today was a good day for me. I am thankful for no low BP.
I am currently at Dr. Ganesh for my monthly check up. His medical aid is not here so I am sure I will be here for a while because he is running his office by himself.
I am grateful for a nice warm sunny day.
I am thankful to have such a good Dr. who takes good care of me.
I am thankful to my teacher friends and our get together Tuesday for friendship and sharing.
I am thankful to have my daughter contact me each day. I really enjoy sharing ideas and thoughts.
There is a little boy in this waiting room completely absorbed in his computer game. He must be about 2 years old and really loving what he is doing.
There was a 90 year old man here who was so happy and loving to share and tell jokes. He was a very social fellow and had all kinds of stories to tell.
He seemed much younger than 90.
I hope to get home soon and tackle the remaining tasks that are left to do.
While you recuperate Heather relax and enjoy the quiet time that your body told you that you needed.
Love
Mom
I miss your shining face and sparkling eyes

Mom…thank you for the well wishes. Thankfully the migraine only lasted until Wednesday night. I think there is a virus going around and it was connected to my sinus behind my eye. I’m not runny nose or congestion, but I did have a slight cough. Feeling better today. When you get a chance, read 3-5-26 Simple Abundance…craving more of your poetry. I hope your Dr. visit went well. I love you!
